The Perfect Way To Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

A one-man show to celebrate St.Patrick’s Day

“The top of the morning to you and the cream of the day.”

Lilt of Laughter, Trace of Tears has enjoyed sold out performances wherever it goes and this one-man show featuring Irish stories is the perfect way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

These delightful Irish characters find themselves in amusing situations and somehow their approach to life helps them to come up with unimaginable solutions to life’s problems.

Author, Charlene Herrold has captured the language and rhythm of Irish life, providing the audience with an array of characters you will instantly fall in love with.

The tales come from the west coast of Ireland, in and around Clew Bay & Clare Isle, County Mayo, an area known for poverty, and famine, oddly ingredients necessary for a deep sense of humour. There is quite a collection here, gentle stories of life, death, and love all capturing that lovely Irish lilt.

The stories are of the human spirit. There is an immense honesty in these characters. These stories will warm your soul.

You can catch this show on St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday March 17 at 7pm at Guelph’s Red Brick Cafe, 8 Douglas Street for one performance only, but hurry seating is limited to 40. Ticket $25 at Eventbrite or cash at the door.

The show then goes to Barrie for Mother’s Day and then Ennotville for Father’s Day. Jay Wilson of JayWalking Guelph performs.

“Sure it is well known the whole world would be Irish if it could.”
