Released For Publication - May 23, 2023
The 2023 Noon Hour Concert Series presents nine outdoor music performances in St George’s Square every Friday in June and July.
Event Date: Every Friday starting June 2nd to July 28th
Location: Downtown Guelph
Admission: Free to music lovers of all ages
Free to the public, we invite music lovers of all ages to pull up a brightly coloured sun lounger under one of our many sunshades, or perch on the Capistrano patio and enjoy the show whilst eating freshly made food and drinking a cold beer.
The series kicks off on Friday June 2nd with The Chairmen of the Boards playing surf-rock instrumentals to get us all in the mood for summer. It continues every Friday lunchtime up to and including July 28th when Nashville-based singer Danielle Todd will round off the series. In between there is a jazz tribute to the Beatles, (Sandy Macdonald Duo), an all-pink doo-wap band (The Flamingos) and cool cat synth music (Moonbeam).
Brought to you by the Downtown Guelph Business Association, the series is professionally curated by experienced local promoter, Kaleidoscope Music. Our ‘roadies’ from local group Community of Hearts will take care of setting up the show as well as getting the party started.
