In partnership with The Kitchen Bees, we (Your Downtown Guelph Friends) will be providing a holiday meal to serve to our downtown population on Sunday, December 19th, 2021 at 1:45 - 3:30 pm.
We will have gift bags for our community members, a free/no barrier gift market, baked goods table.
In the mean time, we will be setting up our table outside of the Guelph Market's holiday market event which is located at the Guelph Black Heritage Hall at 83 Esssex Street. We will be there from 10am-3pm to collect donations.
We are looking for the following:
-Donations for our Tim Hortons Gift Cards
-New or gently used items for our gift market
-Baked goods

We are a youth-directed mutual aid group operating in Downtown Guelph. Homelesness, substance dependences, mental health crises, racialized struggles, 2SLGBTQIA issues and communities are overrepresented in those we see.
This will be our third holiday celebration - every year we have a special holiday meal, we give giftcards and treats as a gift to our visitors, we have a no barrier and zero cost market to allow for visitors to pick gifts for their loved ones and or themselves. It has always been successful and loved
